Duke University is located in Durham North Carolina and one of the youngest universities around.  There is a lot of history that many may not know and I thought I would share some interesting facts about Duke University School of Medicine.  Did you know?

• In 1937 the worlds first brain tumor program stated at Duke.
• In the 1960′s Duke Clinical Research Institute was established.
• Duke was the nation’s first with the Physician Assistant Program started in 1965.
• Medical Scientist Training Programs is one of the oldest in the country.
